All of a sudden, he started rummaging through the desk to write "school map" down. Curiously, she walked up to what he was pointing to. After grabbing the folder, she glanced down at the laminated paper. Almost immediately, she caught onto what his idea was. Back where she was from, her school did not have the type of intercom system set up in Henderson, but it was similar enough to get the idea. She bit her lip. The idea was a risky one, though. She never visited the place before so she didn't know which number extension to call. If they weren't careful, they'd end up calling their own room. Of course, that was a worst case possibility but that did not mean that it couldn't happen. Her eyes passed over the walls in hopes that she would find a map somewhere. Without a doubt, there would be one in the main office but that did not mean the back office would have one. She let out a small grunt of frustration when her efforts bore no fruit. She froze when she heard moaning outside. While she knew that they weren't caught... yet... it still poured an overabundance of adrenaline into her veins. How she wished to just open the door and run for it. Waiting in suspense for that door to open was the most bone-chilling feeling in the world. Her hands shook as she paced stiffly. She felt like if she stayed still, she would just explode. She froze suddenly when an idea hit her. As quickly and quietly as she could, Michelle walked back up to the laminated paper and stared at the numbers. A small grin found its way to her face as she read them over. If she remembered correctly, the school was two floors high. The room numbers on the paper went from 101-120, then it skipped to 201-220. If that was the case, then the numbers that start with one represented the first floor and the numbers with two represented the second floor, right? Eagerly, she called Calvin over to the page numbers. With one hand, she pointed at 101 and with her other, she pointed at the ground. Afterwards, she pointed at 201 with one hand and pointed up with her other hand. She really hoped he understood what she was talking about. After all, it was pretty self-explanatory.
