KILL WITH EFFICIENCY
( ways to tell if someone is infected. )
Zombies are slow, stupid creatures on their own. However, the more of them there are, the smarter they seem to get. A horde of these things has the mentality of a pack of wolves. Fresh zombies are generally faster than older ones, and they become like the alphas during an attack, taking to the front. These are generally the ones to watch out for when they are alone, as well. The only way for these things to die and stay dead is for the brain to be destroyed. Easiest way of doing so is a bullet through the head or the brain to be pulverized by a blunt object.
REMEMBER TO DOUBLE TAP
( ways to get infected. )
[/blockquote]

At first, the disease was slow moving, first signs not showing up for months after the South Korean refugees came to America. When it did show up, it had similar symptoms to Rabies. Irritability, headache, fever, and a rash at the infection site. The first zombies were furious and incoherent, as if they had reverted to animalistic behavior. But that was then.
Now, most generally, you become infected by being bitten. If you're attacked, but not eaten completely, you're definitely going to turn into a zombie sooner or later. The area of the bite will become infected-looking and it will begin to smell like rotting flesh. In severe cases, the skin will start to turn black and fall off. It will start to burn and become highly irritated around the bite. Then, you'll experience a high fever, body convulsions, and possible heart failure. Depending on how fast your metabolism is will determine how soon you turn. Generally, it takes about twenty to thirty minutes. Other times, it's only about five or even an hour. So basically, it's just a faster strain of the original, moving through the population quickly. Only the smartest survive.
